The Carolina Marina fuss

It's all about the a proposed dry stack marina facility planned on Burnett Road (just north of Seabreeze). The dry stack storage building will (might) be huge - 40' tall and as big as a football field - and be right in the middle of a residential neighborhood.

The county Commissioners denied the owner, Tim Ward, a permit, but he appealed to a district judge and won.

The Commissioners decided not to appeal the decision, so he gets his permit by default.
