After thinking long and hard about things over the last few weeks, we are going to discontinue Snow's Cut Monthly indefinitely. We cannot express our gratitude enough for your support and belief in the magazine and wish we were delivering better news. As for the Snow’s Cut E-news…it will be back soon.
Meanwhile, we are absolutely committed to the popular Pleasure Island Vacation Guide that we launched last summer and the Vacation Coupons Book (now in its 7th year).
Let us repeat:

Its unfortunate that the magazine wasn't profitable enough to continue, but we must press on. We'll use our time to make our summer publications even better.
A VALIANT EFFORT
All you need to do is look around the country at the state of publishing to see the predicament we’re in. Seattle has no newspaper. Gourmet Magazine went under. Newsweek is teetering. It’s a tough industry to be in.
The truth of it is, publishing a magazine is different than other businesses. If our plumbing company was struggling, we wouldn't have thought twice about calling it quits. But we get compliments. Lots of them. And they have always inspired us to forge on, no matter what the circumstances were. It really is fun and rewarding to entertain and inform people.
We actually faced the same questions this time last year, but we couldn't stomach the thought of stopping. That's why we went to a paid subscription model. Unfortunately that hasn't quite panned out, so here we are. To those of you who subscribed right away…thanks for such loyalty and support. To those of you who never got around to it…no hard feelings, you never owed us anything. Just spare us the schpeel about how sorry you are.
How many nights have we stayed up until 2am doing this? Too many to count, but we never cared. It didn't seem like work.
